CORE grants support to the children of food and beverage employees navigating life-altering circumstances. Since 2004, CORE has raised more than $2.5 million and granted support to more than 225 families from across the industry and the country. If you're a member of a food and beverage service family with children, you can apply for support below. You may also refer a food and beverage service family for support.

Agencies for the Houston Food Bank are located across the region - not just located in Houston. To receive food, call the Houston Food Bank at 832-369-9390, Mondays, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Tuesday - Friday, 7:30 a.m.- 9:00 p.m., and Saturday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. They can help you identify a hunger relief agency that serves your part of town. Or check their searchable database of agencies.


GHCF's Hurricane harvey relief fund

After an overwhelming number of inquiries, Mayor Sylvester Turner and County Judge Ed Emmett established the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, housed at the Greater Houston Community Foundation. More information to come soon on how to apply for aid, including stipends to replace vehicles for restaurant employees.
